Outreach: Dancing in the Schools

​

NANCY KARP + DANCERS is looking for new teachers for our fall 2022 'Dancing in the Schools' outreach program. Classes will take place on Anna Yates Elementary School campus and will begin in mid-August. Our ideal candidate has professional-level experience teaching youth creative movement/dance in public school settings. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of youth dance instruction for lead role. Teaching assistants, preferably, should have 1 year of experience. Our youth program is an integral part of our annual programming and celebrates the artistic voice of diverse youth through arts practices.

Letters of recommendation are a plus.

Pay rate: 

Lead teachers:  $70 per class 

Assistant teachers: $35 per class

Start date: week of August 22, 2022
